The Newcastle Baking Show will have a change this year in venue and direction. The BIA NSW are happy to recieve the support of the Food Service Assoc and the offer to conduct the Baking Show at the Newcastle Food Service Trade Show. Wednesday Oct 20th 2010 at the Newcastle Racecourse Darling St Broadmeadow.
This will allow our industry to show case the wonderful products that are produced and judged right infront of the many visitors to the show. The presentation of winners and business names will be announced again infront of the trade show visitors

The time honoured Bill Lewis Memorial Trophy was taken out by Mr Geoff Germon of the Bakers Cottage in East Maitland and presented by BIA NSW President Mr Stewart Latter
The Arthur Dennison Champion Loaf of the Show was won Cheyne Jobson and the Bob Connell Champion Cake and Pastry was won by Elicia Wing Euro Patisserie in New Lambton.
The Association conitnues to work closeley with our sponsors and TAFES with the encouragement awards for 1st and 2nd year apprentices now offerring $150 towards tools and books for furtner education in the industry.
