The Excellence in Baking Awards will be back in 2012

The Jewel in the Crown for the baking industry is the Excellence in Baking Awards, these will be held in conjunction with TAFE NSW at the Ryde Campus.

There are 2 categories that make up this pretigious event

 

The Individual Category

 

 

The categories for the Bake-off include Master Baker, Master Pastry Chef/Cook and the Apprentice section of Baker or Patry Chef/Cook. The Bake- off is conducted over 2 days all the contestants are invited to attend the awards ceremony in November in Sydney. This promises to be a great night with the winners of the apprentice section recieving grants towards further education/skill training.

 

 

BUSINESS CATEGORY

The business category winners of the Excellence in Baking will be announced at the awards night in Nov in Sydney. With over 100 people in attending the awards this is hailed as a great night for the industry.
