The L A Judge Award is one of the Nation's most prestigious
baking industry award. For this reason, the Baking Industry
Association (NSW Employers) is inviting suitable candidates
in NSW to apply for the chance to be recognised as a
future leader of the baking industry.
In May next year, a Baker who has or is just about to finish his or her apprenticeship or has much experience in bread baking and is 23 years or under in the competing year, will be representing our State and competing for the honour of winning 2009's award.
The competition will be held over four days, May 2009. During this time, contestants will be assessed in three main areas - practical baking skills; technical knowledge; and presentation and communication skills.
