Workplace Relations

Workplace relations is changing yet again!!  Workchoices(the Liberal/National Govt workplace laws) have lasted for a little under two years and will be repealed by the new Labour Govt of Kevin Rudd. There will be no more A.W.As a return to collective bargaining as a chief tool for setting enterprise wages and a return to some form of unfair dismissal regulation. As part of the legislative direction to a Commonwealth workplace relations framework, the Association is positioned as a provider of customised employment and workplace relations services to the industry and affiliatte trades. Indeed the association is uniquely positioned to lead, act and serve the baking industry. The baking Industry Assoc is one of Australias most enduring and highly regarded Associations having been in business for over 130 years.
